Kent graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.   Kent worked with Engineering Consulting firms from 2002 to 2009 and obtained his Professional Engineering license in the State of Washington in 2009. Since that time Kent has become licensed in the State of Wyoming and the State of Colorado. Prior to engineering, Kent spent 14 years in the construction industry mostly building custom homes and remodeling.  In 2010, Kent accepted a position in Rawlins, Wyoming as the City Engineer and after a year and half landed back in the State of Colorado with the City of Central.
